As a teen I had no interest in being feminine. Doing so came with the fear that attention of the unwanted kind would be given to me. Previous examples as a child had proven it so.
Therefore, my feminine mother was probably frustrated with my tom-boyish ways.
However, as I got older and became comfortable with my body and sexuality, I also embraced more feminine activities like wearing make-up, getting massages, and having my nails done.
When I came to visit a few years ago, my BFF took me to meet an amazing nail artist to celebrate the cherry blossoms before our trip to Kyoto.
Upon returning to Japan to live, I have made regular visits to @yumi her to bring a bit of joy to my fingertips.

This year is off to a great start as well as each month with a new design. I’ll try to update with new ones as I get them, but here are the first three months of design.
Being feminine isn’t so bad after all! π
